Trans youth are very over-represented as mass shooters. Colorado Springs, Denver, Nashville, Iowa, Aberdeen, and Philadelphia mass shooters were all trans. Young adults on cross sex hormones and the whole ideology. The media tries to bury this.

I wonder if the trans identity is a risk marker versus a risk in itself. These kids are so depressed, they literally can’t be comfortable in their own skin. Add antidepressants, cross sex hormones and recreational drug use and you have a very volatile mix.

Add Lakewood Church in Houston, TX. Got caught before a shot was fired.

I 100% agree with everything in this article and would add that pot is much stronger today compared to 40 years ago. Throw that in the toxic mix also

Pat Fuller's avatar

Pot is synthetic garbage now, and yes… waaaaaay different.

Some cannabis is stronger than what was easily available in the past. If youre talking THC content. However medical cannabis is not about the THC content as it does little to help pain nor insomnia. Its about the terpenes. And terpenes are found in many foods and are not harmful at all. In fact they are the healing agents of most natural remedies.

I suggest you do more research before you smear medical cannabis so you can discuss real reasons and not just bs.

Cool- show a study that has all the meds-hormones a trans person would need- plus an ssri and medical weed. That would be interesting

Perhaps one reason we have so much more mental illness now, and more shooters, is the decades-long move away from following traditional Christian beliefs, along with the breakdown of traditional families. Add to that the distractions of personal technology and the miracle is we don't see more of this, although we do seem to be on the way.

“I am friends with a school shooter.”~ Tampon Tim during VP debate

The Minnesota Tranny Perp shooter worked at a weed “dispensary”, today’s high content % THC weed and edibles causes paranoid schizophrenia in 25% of hard user males under 25.

Outstanding article. I’ve questioned why drug use, meds, and mental history haven’t been front and center on these.

EmeraldHeart's avatar

Any coverage of mental health seems to imply they needed help and weren’t getting it. When in fact, they were in treatment!

Susie Tiemeyer's avatar

Treatment that, more than likely, had a negative

impact.

It proves the meds don't work.

Jay's avatar

Or that the meds induce mania or other positive symptoms in vulnerable subpopulations.

Because the media is owned by big pharm (up to 90% funding). Here on Substack we can get news that the media corruptly ignores.

Midwestern Dr has had a few articles & this latest one:

Great article. I’d add to it that the use of cross sex hormone/hormone suppression drugs needs to be documented and studied , as it seems gender dysmorphia /transgenderism are a part of a a good number of violent incidents that also go under-reported.

Pat Fuller's avatar

💯. This won’t get funded as it won’t bring more drugs on the market🥴

BING - freaking - GO! You’ve got it. Overly prescribed drugs in young people struggling with mental illness issues are an obvious causation of mass killings. And, as you point out - the billions of $s spent on public advertising (literally holding up networks) make those drug companies want to be called out as a problem. THANK YOU for this insightful and true column!

Illuminate the AMA for the endorsement of experimental drugs and surgeries that perpetuate mental illness.

How about eliminating compulsory schooling - this torture chamber that we force these vulnerable children through.

Thank you for your reporting. My friend, Kim Witczak, is the one who sued Pfizer and got these black box warnings on SSRI’s. She continues to advocate for safety measures similar to those you suggest. You should interview her for your podcast. www.Kim Witczak.com

Totally agree. Have been saying for awhile we need a database of the drugs these killers are on. Patterns will emerge which is probably why it has not been done.

MASS KILLINGS IN THE USA. Checking my records, I also see that I wrote another article in 2018 on the same subject, that is, what is the cause? And I mention some of the drugs that are known to cause violence, Notably SSRI Antidepressants and Antipsychotics?

I agree entirely with Sharyl - if we are not interested in discovering the cause, we will never find a find a real solution. We will just have to wait for the next one - and hope that that "it will never happen again".

Might the change in how the media covered this angle, align with the timing of pharma becoming the largest source of revenue for most broadcasters?

Rachel Lucas's avatar

So glad you pointed this out! More research needs to be done in this area. So much more.

Ron Kays's avatar

Suggestion:

-ban advertising by Pharma.

-make “gender affirmation” in medicine illegal.

-begin creating/building mental health facilities to separate the mentally ill ftom the mainstream.

Pat Fuller's avatar

Pretty sure this is like “the good ole days”😂😂

Many, many more murders will occur before the media will begin questioning the killer’s medicine consumption.

The pharmaceutical companies have the most money which is why they will continue to win. It’s amazing how just a few bucks thrown in someone’s direction shuts down the conversation.

Don’t ask doctors to look into it. They don’t know, and don’t care about this issue, because it’s not their “problem.” If psychiatrists know they won’t say.

Pharmaceutical money keeps the media, the pols and the physicians quiet.

Donald Trump must have a plan. He’s just busy right now taking down the other bad guys.
