He had to win. The alternative was unthinkable. And he has. Let the reckoning begin. Please.

And for Heaven's sake, let's get that message over to Guterres, Tedros, Schwab, et al: That NO, NO, NO, YOU DO NOT HOLD THE REINS TO MY COUNTRY.

11/07/24: Amen, brother. Let the RECKONING begin, starting with the Dirty 51 traitors who charged Trump with being a Russian asset, trying to disguise the origin of the Hunter Biden laptop. Orchestrated by dirty little fixer Blinken (the apple did not fall far from the father's tree). JAIL. Two-five years minimum, if found guilty.

SEVERE wake up call to Dems and especially the Progressive faction of the party. They have been so out of touch for so long it's been hard to watch. A self-correction by the American people just took place and I'm excited for the next 4 years under the Trump administration!!

Oh no, they haven't been woken up yet. If we got the REAL results of the election last night ie: 57 Senate seats, 20 seat House majority, Trump wins all 7 battleground states PLUS VA, NM, MN, NH, and NJ for a total of ~370 electoral votes, THEN you would have a wake up call. Instead, all you will hear today is denial: misogyny, Russians, racism, etc.

So, where does it go from here?

The National Popular Vote Interstate Compact (NPVIC) is an agreement among a group of U.S. states to award all their EVs to whichever presidential ticket wins the overall popular vote in the 50 states.

Will Illinois and the other Blue States honor their commitment or remove this joke requirement from the books?

Expand full comment

NPVC hasn’t passed the required number of states to trigger, so they’ll use that as an out.

Since inter-state compacts require the approval of Congress (per Article IV, Section 10 of the Constitution) the NPVC ought to be negated by the incoming Congress, but I suspect that’s not a hill the Republican legislators want to climb if they can avoid it, so they’ll continue to put it off until the compact is triggered.

Why? Maybe from the fact that we should have picked up 7 senate seats instead of 4. Maybe from the fact that Nevada has been stuck on 84% for the past 4 hours, same with Arizona. Yes, some people find this game playing offensive. Clearly you are a win at all costs kind of person.

This. "Trump was impeached twice but acquitted both times in the Senate. He was charged with numerous crimes. They tried to keep him off ballots, disqualify him, put him in jail, censor him, and fine him millions. But no matter what Trump’s enemies have thrown at him, he has tended to emerge victorious in the long run— whether it’s in the Supreme Court or the court of public opinion."

If I were still a Democrat, this is the stuff that *should* concern me. Throughout the various manifestations of TDS, there has never--and I typically do not use that word--been an attack on policy. There have been continual attacks to disqualify him on procedural, dare-I-say, bullshit grounds. Even the "he's Hitler" stuff is made out of tissue paper soaked in liberal tears. What I still have a difficult time reconciling, is my college friends, educated, upwardly-mobile, urban, Black, who STILL hold on to the notion that he's some type of fascist. #WTAF

Clearly, the border stuff was a poison pill for Vice President Harris, but it was far from the only one. She was horribly under-qualified. She was selected by Biden, out of all the contenders, despite being the worst option of the Democratic contenders in the primary. Not to put too fine a point on it, but she sucked across multiple dimensions. That she got as many votes as she did indicates some deep psychosis across the electorate, frankly.

All that said, I cannot wait to see what happens next!

This is the greatest event to happen to America in my lifetime. I would be really interested to know what the true vote numbers were for this election. Since there are 20 million less votes for death and evil and 5 million less for Trump. What is the actual number? I think the Blob cannot get a win in most states without cheating. Maybe this will be the complete demise of mainstream media and propaganda will be seen for what it is. Then maybe the American people will see that their vote for the blob is the American people being used. Lord have mercy on America!

Thank you for asking these questions. Far too few people do!!!!

My minimum estimates: Trump also won VA, NM, MN, NH, and NJ last night, at a minimum. He at the very least came very close in NY, CO, and OR. I'm probably missing a few, but you get the gist of it.

Republicans would EASILY have 57 senate seats, possibly more. What's even more scary is that if you erase all the fraud and theft from 2016 on, they would easily have 65-70 senate seats right now. What's even SCARIER is that if you erased all the google search manipulation, plus facebook, twitter, instagram etc. censorship, they would have 75 seats and at least a 100 seat majority in the House.

In other words, we would be living in an entirely different world. Of course, if we had no cheating or censorship, democrats likely would have been forced to change their ways long before republican majorities ever reached those levels and we would live in a much healthier nation.

But instead, here we are....

I’ve been suspicious of Virginia because years ago McAuliffe changed all the voting machines. Literally had a machine going in the state of installing Democrats. Then we get Youngkin which seems to be an anomaly. Both senators from the state of Virginia are either corrupt or totally checked out. Do nothing but go with the blob. There’s a lot more to the state than northern Virginia.

Looking at the Florida vote where Trump won 56% versus Harris 43% maybe a comparison as to what the true vote is. I need to do some more research on what changed in Florida, but from my brief scanning articles, it seems their new law made it harder to cheat.

Apt, thoughtful & oh so valuable observations on the value of the past four (horrific-but-apparently-essential) years — thank you for this, Sharyl! The “other side” of bottomless evil’s hubris went too far & resulted in hordes of valuable leaders and “just plain folks” workers & voters making this incredible, essential victory happen! I was one of those who “needed” to witness the nearly unbelievable depth of depravity to believe it and come to the light. I have bottomless gratitude for this “miracle” we are just witnessing. The entire WEF/UN, etc cabal & lackeys in the tool of the Democratic Party have just been given a huge setback in their despicable plans to rip apart America & decent people around our world. There is SO much to do, now, to turn from the evil & disaster that has been planned as World domination nearly achieved, but now, that can happen! I have been astounded that Donald J Trump would be key to this and to watch leaders such as you’ve enumerated here, Sharyl, support him — & us!! — in the strongest, most unequivocal ways! Again, thank you, Sharyl for helping this tide to turn so we are not drowned! Personal blessings to you and your dearest ones! Onward!

I'm glad it was worth it to you. But don't be fooled into thinking Trump narrowly won these swing states. A lot of people like RFK (disappointingly) will not admit these truths. It's politically correct to say Trump probably lost 2020 and that he was wrong to spread conspiracy theories blah blah blah. Don't believe it, it's another lie. He was right on target, but he sacrificed his victory in 2020 so that people like yourself could wake up. Please remember that. When the truth of 2020 comes to light, all fake media, politicians, and government bureaucrats who pushed the lie that 2020 was "the most secure election in American history" will be completely discredited in one fell swoop. It will be known as the greatest political move of all time. Mark my words.

It needs to happen, because they are not giving up. They are not going to accept this victory. Just watch their rhetoric today.

He won much more than 312 electoral votes. He also won VA, NM, MN, NH, and NJ. The republicans should have 57 Senate seats. If you erase all fraud and theft from 2016 on, republicans would hold 65-70 Senate seats and over a 100 seat majority in the House. And, of course, Donald Trump would still be president. In other words, we would be living in an entirely different country and world right now.

Very insightful observations about taking time out to analyze the first term and learn from it. After reading it, l realize no

President gets to do that. They all leave office eventually and then have time to look back and learn; but never have another chance to apply the lessons. Trump, as you point out, has taken the time to look back and learn and now has the chance to apply.
