Clean house. drain the swamp. Sometimes you throw out a good one amidst all the crap. If he was that good, he’ll be back. We have friends who are deputy IG agents. They were stunned. And they are pro-trump. That firing made a huge point. FINALLY.

That’s what I am thinking. Hope we are correct.

What part of the firing made a point? All 17 or that one in particular? What about the firing generally made a point to those deputy agents?

Good post. The one thing you have to remember is The Swamp still swirls around and sometimes the good ones are 'purposely' drained by those who hide sunlight. I think this invaluable American will be back once Trump's REAL employees take charge.

Please contact Trump's team about this guy, Sharyl. They will respond.

Love your work, wonderful lady. Been following you for over a decade.

Send a message to the Pentafon and get Hegseth to review his work. He might want to hire him to help identify waste, fraud, and abuse in the Pentafon.

Trump, more than anyone, needs to be watched like a hawk. He is like a bull in a china shop. He may be doing things the right likes but if he is getting rid of important IGs he has to be challenged. If he has a good explanation for this particular firing, so be it. He is not a king.

Unfortunately, I'm seeing a first phase of Trump actions showing a little too much "tossing baby out with the bathwater", as in this example. My 30 years in federal service taught me a few things about being deliberate, about verifying things before taking an action that could set one back, even derail someone's plans.

I wish I could convey that to President Trump, some wisdom from a fellow his own age, with some 'chops' I learned in the federal sector. I hope some of his chosen advisors have the moxie to give him a few pointers about these things. He can't afford to lose any cred, with the Left circling like vultures overhead.

My friend is seeing the same thing. He is losing two superb employees with deep institutional knowledge and mentoring skills to the private sector and the one bad one who they've been working to get rid of was on her way out in March due to them following protocol to get her off the books anyway. Now the bad one gets a free paid vacation for 8 months on the taxpayer dime when that wouldn't have happened had they not done this ginormous cut like this. I don't know if all agencies are like this, but this one small segment is being badly hurt and more waste is happening due to the moves of the admin. Going to be interesting to see what happens and if it is indeed worth it.

I was outraged by the invasion of Afghanistan from day 1. Everything about what followed is sickening. Teddy Roosevelt defined the imperialism of the U.S at the end of the 1800's. Has much changed since then? That-even though it doesn't really answer the question Sharyl is asking. Sorry.

My guess is because he was possibly "lying in wait" to undermine Trumps pick for Sec. of Defense. Trump knows you can't trust anyone in DC

Good work as always. We need to keep an eye on this administration. Sure, a drunken squirrel is a 1000% improvement over the woke grifters. That doesn’t mean the new administration won’t make mistakes and they need to be called out as needed.

Were you keeping an eye on the last administration? And exactly how does John W Public accomplish this oversight?

This is so upsetting. Could you have your team reach out to the Pentagon on his behalf? I’m sure they would love to have an honest employee like that reinstated. Maybe even promoted.

Maybe he got fired because he wasn’t very good at his job. In any case, he serves at the pleasure of the President. If the President has lost confidence in him, then he has to go.

Trump has limited time to make major changes. I do hope the person is retained. Boyd would approve of Trump's approach. More of the good guys will be killed in a slow approach.
